Judges 9:12-14

¹² So the trees said to the vine, ‘You come and rule over us!’ ¹³ But the vine said to them, ‘Should I leave my new wine which makes God and men happy, and go to wave over the trees?’ ¹⁴ Then all the trees said to the thorn bush, ‘You come and rule over us!’
